Cardio Video Descriptions

Cardio video

At The Combo Coach, we believe it’s never too late to feel great - strong, confident, and full of energy. As we age, our bodies naturally lose muscle mass and bone density. This is where strength training becomes a true game-changer.

The beauty of strength training is that it’s adaptable—no matter your fitness level, mobility, or experience, you can start safely and progress at your own pace.

Our short classes are enjoyable, effective, and safe strength exercises, proving that age is just a number.  Combine a strength workout with cardio and finish off with Mind & Body!

Warm up

WARM UP

A proper warm-up is essential before any workout, preparing your body for movement and reducing the risk of injury.  Start with gentle, dynamic movements like arm circles, marching in place, or light jogging to gradually increase your heart rate and loosen muscles.

Warming up improves blood flow, enhances joint mobility, and primes your nervous system for the exercises ahead. It also helps you mentally focus, ensuring you’re ready for a productive session.

Boxicise

Boxercise is a full-body workout that combines boxing techniques with cardio exercises, perfect for improving fitness, strength, and coordination.

This video guides you through beginner-friendly punches, jabs, hooks, and footwork, while keeping your heart rate up and burning calories.

Beyond fitness, Boxercise boosts confidence, relieves stress, and sharpens focus. No prior boxing experience is needed—just a willingness to move, sweat, and have fun.

Kettlecise

Kettlecise

Kettlebell exercises are a great way to build strength, endurance, and flexibility all at once.

Using a single weighted bell (you can use a dumbbell), we perform easy moves that engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously.

This type of training improves core stability, boosts cardiovascular fitness, and enhances coordination and balance.

Kettlebells are versatile, space-saving, and highly effective.

Cool down

COOL DOWN

A cool down is an essential part of any workout, helping your body transition from activity to rest safely. It gradually lowers heart rate, eases breathing, and prevents blood pooling in the legs.

We use swings, and light shoulder rolls to relax tense muscles.

Stretching key muscle groups—hamstrings, quads, calves, chest, and back—helps maintain flexibility and reduces post-workout soreness. Incorporating deep, mindful breathing during these movements also calms the nervous system.
